Black Mountain

I'm visiting my aunt and uncles home in North Carolina this week.  We had a second Christmas and a lot of good times :) For Christmas I got a curling wand (LOVE) and this is the hair result of my first time using it.  It is hard to curl hair on the back of your head by yourself...............

Boots: Nine West; Leggings: American Apparel; Sweater: Dillards; Blouse: thrifted; Purse: Elliot Lucca; Necklace: vintage from grandma
Glad it wasn't freezing today so I just got to wear this sweater (I got it for 5 dollars marked down from 40!) and the necklace is from my granny, she has supplied me with a couple of great new vintage items!

Love you lots,
Lyd

crochet scarf & tan boots

Hey pretties :) I'm so happy to be posting! I fixed my camera!

My semester is over, I'm in the Christmas spirit, and I'm just... Excited!

I learned to crochet, which some of you may know if you saw my last post of goodies.  This scarf is one of the first things I made.  It didn't turn out exactly how I wanted so I may eventually take it apart and start over, but for now I'm happy.  The bright purple is my favorite.
Boots: Nine West; Leggings: Gap; Shirt: CottonOn; Scarf: made by me; Chain: thrifted; Purse: H&M

Prayers of love and hope for you this holiday season,
Lydee

Recent Creations via Instagram

Hello pretty people!!
I wish I could update with an outfit post but my camera stopped working :( I, being the engineer I am, even took apart part of it and put it back together, it worked for about three weeks longer then it stopped again.  Camera problems, sad!
However, I've made a few things lately (I learned to crochet!) and have been posting pictures to my twitter with the fancy instagram app.  (My username is lydeeloo, I don't quite know how to go about following people, if you do, can you let me know?)

The lace necklaces are made with vintage lace given to me from my grandmother.  The small rose bracelet and bobby pins are handmade as well by me, the bracelet can be found on my Etsy store.   The crocheted ear warmer and hooded scarf I made for myself :)  The necklaces and bobby pins are Christmas gifts (I hope the people who are receiving them don't see this!)

If you are interested in anything, just send me a message on my etsy, I'm happy to do requests. Making things is my therapy.  And I certainly need whatever I can get because it is finals week!! AHHHHHH!
Love you all, I hope you have a blessed week,
Lydee
