glittery shoes?? 2012 is going to be a good one

I'm a month late, but happy new year!!! Each year brings more opportunity, more fun.  My favorite new year themed thing I've seen is this Giogo girls video, new year, new you :)

These shoes were a DIY I made over break.  So inspired by the glitter shoes by Miu Miu but not near to financially capable of having them, I decided for the next best thing.  I opted for these flat boots I found at a thrift store too, because I'll get more use out of flats trekking across my college campus. The glitter isn't staying on quite as well as I'd hoped after a few uses (I glued the glitter on then put a clear acrylic sealant on top, maybe I should have used more coats of sealant?)

Shout out to all y'all who send me sweet messages even though I take such breaks between posts.
