songs and such

I've played the acoustic guitar for about eight years.  I don't play as much as I used to, unfortunately the business of going to college a few years ago made me stop playing as much.  The other day while cleaning my computer, I found a folder full of recordings of songs I have written.  It bugs me that I can't even remember the music I wrote off the top of my head, so I've been listening to them, writing the lyrics and the tabs.
Shoes: Texas Junk Company; Socks: Nordstrom; Dress: Goodwill; Blouse: Santee Alley; Earrings: Charlotte Russe; Bracelets: various DIY



Every song I've written, I can remember the event that inspired it, the feelings I felt that I wanted to get out.  Listening to them is a trip down memory lane, the good and the bad.
In this look I tried out a new hairstyle that I watched on a tutorial from the wonderful wendyslookbook.  It was super easy, and held up decently being that I took these pictures about 8 hours after fixing the style.  Try it!

I think that's how I felt when I found a binder cleaning with all the songs that I wrote when I was younger. I can't even remember half of them, but it's definitely fun reminiscing and trying to relearn them! LOL.

  37. College can be really mean sometimes, I totally understand you, I think you should play guitar more. it can realease your stress maybe I wish I could play too, and I'd love to hear your songs!
